DAY 1: QUITO

Reception and transfer to hotel.

Quito City Tour and Middle of the World (Mitad del mundo)

The famous and world-renowned "Mitad del Mundo" monument is found 30 minutes north of Quito. Here you will have the opportunity to straddle the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere at the same time. In the 18th Century, the French Geodesic Mission arrived to conduct important studies on the land formations.A monument was erected and an interesting Ethnic museum was created. This museum has exhibits on the various cultures of Ecuador. A ride by the Pululahua crater (an inactive volcano) offers a fantastic view of this charming Andean valley. The peak of this volcano was transformed due to tectonic movements and is an interesting sight to see.

DAY 2: QUITO TO GALAPAGOS

Breakfast. Transfer from hotel to airport in Quito to take Galapagos flight. Arrival in Baltra airport where your English speaking guide will transfer you to *Puerto Ayora *(*Santa Cruz Island*) to Hotel Silverstein. Accommodation in double rooms.

The Hotel Silberstein, formerly known as the Hotel Angermeyer, is located in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island just 50 meters from the sea. Silberstein is one of the first hotels on the island to have its own dive center and is excited to introduce the delights of the underwater world.

Hotel Silberstein offers charming rooms which are surrounded by a luscious subtropical garden with a small pool. Silberstein is also a charming restaurant. Its island famous chef serves spectacular and unique international and Ecuadorian dishes. Otherwise, there is also a coffee bar that offers desserts as well as tropical cocktails in the magnificent garden. A sandy space near the pool serves as a barbeque pit or as a play area for children.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Darwin Station where we will have an explanation about scientists, park rangers and park managers make huge efforts to preserve and protect the Galápagos Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Station is also a tortoise breeding and rearing center, where tortoises of different subspecies are prepared for reintroduction to their natural habitats. Return to hotel. Dinner. Overnight

DAY 3: SAN CRISTOBAL

Early in the morning after breakfast and departure to Santa Fe. This island has one of the most beautiful coves of all visitor sites in the Galápagos. It is a turquoise cove protected by a peninsula that extends from the shore by a row of rocks and by a small island that are aligned with it. This island was formed by an uplift that was a result of tectonic activity. On this island we will see land iguanas, sea turtles, Galápagos hawks, sea lions, and the forest of Opuntia Cactus. In the afternoon visit to San Cristobal, the scientific Centro de Interpretacion where you will receive information about the conservation projects. After this visit we will have overnight in Hotel Orca in San Cristobal. Dinner.

DAY 4: ESPANOLA

Breakfast. This morning you will leave to Espanola is one of the most popular and attractive islands because it is one of the most isolated islands in the archipelago. The quantity and variety of wildlife here is remarkable and it has a high proportion of natural fauna. On this island we will find waved albatrosses (April to December), blue footed bobbies, masked boobies, Galápagos hawks, Darwin finches, swallow-tailed gulls, Espanola mockingbirds, shorebirds sea lions, marine iguanas, lava lizards, and an impressive blowhole. Visito to Gardner Bay which offers a great possibility for the visitor to enjoy some beach time in the Galápagos. At the beach you can walk and watch sea lions, or just lie down and relax. Or you can go swimming and snorkeling. The rocks in front of the beach are excellent snorkeling sites. Lunch. Continue trip to Floreana for overnight Hostal Wittmer. Dinner

DAY 5: FLOREANA

After breakfast we will go to Floreana is one of the most interesting Islands in the Galápagos with early human inhabitants that date back to the 1930's. Floreana has a colorful history of pirates, whalers, convicts and colonists. Punta Cormorant - At Punta Cormorant the landing is on a beach with green olivine sand. Several trails on the island allow you to explore and experience a brackish lagoon where long, skinny-legged flamingoes wade through the water, sifting shrimp with their curved bills. White-cheeked pintail ducks, stilts, and other shorebirds feed along with the flamingoes.

The trail then goes over a hill to a stunning white beach consisting of ground coral where the green sea turtles nest. Lunch. Start sailing to Santa Cruz where you will spend night. Hotel Silverstein. Dinner.

DAY 6: PUERTO AYORA-BALTRA QUITO

After breakfast, we will got to Tortuga Bay where we will have a pleasant time to swim and rest. Lunch. Afternoon flight to Quito. Reception and transfer to hotel.
